Erik Buchér has practiced criminal law since 2002. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University in 1997 (cum laude) and his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2000. Prior to forming Buchér & Greenspan, P.C. in 2006, Erik was an associate in private practice where he learned valuable litigation skills.
Erik’s practice is limited to criminal law matters. He is a member of the Oregon Defense Attorney Consortium, an exclusive group of highly qualified defense attorneys representing individuals in criminal law matters in Washington County Circuit Court.
Erik is a dedicated and zealous advocate for his clients and is an experienced courtroom litigator, having tried numerous cases before both a judge and jury. Erik routinely represents individuals in a wide range of criminal matters in Washington, Clackamas and Multnomah counties. Erik has represented individuals charged with: DUII and traffic offenses, thefts, major drug felonies, sexual offenses, assaults, burglaries, robberies and attempted murder.
In 2008, Erik was elected for a two-year term to the Oregon Criminal Lawyer’s Association Board of Directors. Additionally, Erik serves on the board of directors for the Washington County Bar Association.
Erik’s interests include spending time with his wife and two daughters, traveling, physical fitness, playing golf, and attending various sporting events.
